SYNOPSIS
Vivian has been working as a computer programmer at Total Business Systems for thirty years when a company restructure replaces her manager and many of her older colleagues. Though she is spared the layoffs, Vivian has to contend with fanatical new manager Amy and obnoxious “innovation consultant” Cody. Both repulsed and aroused by Cody’s Gen Z aura, Vivian finds herself struggling to adapt to the new office culture at first but soon learns to be more assertive. With the job supporting her adult daughter and ailing mother at stake, Vivian plots to sabotage her younger colleague and, in the process, uncovers evidence of malfeasance behind closed doors. Soon, Vivian’s obsession with revenge puts not only her career but her life at risk.
Vivian Lee, Senior Programmer was a semi-finalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards and the Zoetrope Screenplay Contest.
